FAQ – Event Planning

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Because a wedding is an event (and not just a Friday night get-together with some friends), a certified Wedding Planner will be a distinct asset as you prepare for your special day. A professional planner helps you with all the aspects of your wedding — Design, Coordination, and Directing.

  • The Wedding Designer is the person who will help you create the wedding of your dreams.  Their goal is to take your vision, your personality, and make a one-of-a-kind event, not just another "cookie-cutter" wedding.  This is the person who will help you create an experience and leave an impression.
  • The Wedding Coordinator helps you organize all the millions of little details of your wedding from finding and securing the perfect vendors, locating those unique gifts and favors, and making sure all the I’s are dotted and the T’s are crossed on your invitations; to the final logistics of each who, what, when, where and how – all within your budget.
  • The Wedding Director makes sure all 360 degrees of the details are monitored and under control, so that the day of your wedding is stress-free for you and your family.  They make sure that it is truly an exceptional event ... leaving you to enjoy the limelight.

At Limelite360 Events, we provide a free initial consultation to discuss your event vision. We then help you turn that dream into the perfect day…one that you and your family can enjoy, without stressing over the many details. We can oversee as much, or as little, of your wedding as you wish. Along the way we will give advice and recommendations, but you get the final say. After all…it is your wedding.

Absolutely!  Sometimes planning your own wedding is part of the fun.  However, it can also be stressful, time-consuming and expensive.  With the planner’s assistance…

…you will feel less stressed.  No worries over the millions of little details that make up a wedding or event.  The planner has the expertise to take care of these things.

…you won‘t have to waste vacation days or your lunch-time.  The research and interviewing of quality vendors, venues and resources have already been done by the experienced planner.

…you won’t be wasting your budget.  The concern of whether you’re getting the best deal and the most for your money won‘t be an issue.  The planner has an excellent network of vendors and will represent you during vendor consultations.  This ensures that your vision of the perfect day is carried out, while still keeping your budget in mind.

A professional wedding planner has the training and experience to make sure everything comes together beautifully, which lets you and your fiancé enjoy and celebrate this exciting time in your life ~ your engagement.

A better question is…can I afford not to hire one?

Why?  Because a professional wedding planner is a one stop shop for information, savings and your sanity.  A planner who has developed relationships with vendors can often get you better deals or additional "perks" that a one-time shopper will not receive.  And, a wedding planner should be part of your budget -- not an extra expense.

As your wedding planner, Limelite360 Events will keep you on track, ask the right questions, comparison shop, inspire you with new ideas, and iron out the details -- keeping you smiling, relaxed and carefree from the moment you said "yes" up until you leave for your honeymoon.

We base our pricing on individual choices you’re directly involved in making, be it packaged or "a la Carte".  Our free initial consultation helps us find out about your needs, so we can provide the perfect service - just for you.

A planner’s reputation (as well as any future referrals) depend on the caliber of service the client receives.   Additionally, the professional planner has the training and experience to know which vendors are the best “fit” for your wedding -- best option, best quality, best price.

At Limelite360 Events, we know that staff and vendors make the difference between a good event and a great one.  That is why only Michigan’s most unique, creative, and professional vendors are utilized to highlight your wedding.

Yes, you should have an agreement in writing. A contract outlining the date of the event, the services you will be provided, the cost of the services, payment amounts, due dates, and cancellation policies should all be included.
